Hello, fellow homebody! These handmade ceramic ornaments are perfect for a tree, or to hang on the wall so they can be admired year-round.
A funny story about these little gems...
I was originally making ceramic woven baskets, but they broke (tragically). Sitting right next to the rubble was a house-shaped cookie cutter. I grabbed it, pressed it into the intact woven pieces, and voilà...ornaments! It felt poetic, really, woven fragments coming together to form a home.
To finish them off, I stamped the word homebody using alphabet pasta (yes, pasta!), then fired, glazed, and fired again. The result? A one-of-a-kind ornament that looks just as charming on a December tree as it does hanging around the house any time of year.
